The Advance Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the role of team lead in the Filling Manufacturing department.
This position is part of the Production Operations Department located in West Sacramento, CA and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Filling Department and report to the Production Supervisor responsible for ensuring the team are following the required work instructions to fill diagnostic panels using automated machines and pipets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Organize and prioritize daily activities for a team of 6-9 associates in the filling department
Assist with associate training and development
Ensure that the team (including yourself) follows precise instructions to fill diagnostic panels using automated machines and pipets.
Ensure that the team (including yourself) accurately completes required documentation (batch records, log sheets, paperwork, etc.)
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the filling department, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure that daily 5S activities are completed.
Support continuous improvement through DBS.
Communicate with management and associates to advocate for associate concerns and help ensure management directives are carried out.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree or equivalent with 5+ years of manufacturing experience
Ability to lift to 35 pounds and work overtime on Saturday
Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in leading a manufacturing team
Experience in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
Experience in a medical diagnostic device environment
The hourly range for this role is $25 - $28. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
