Advanced Windows Software Engineer

$56.17-$70.73/Hour

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deliver software for torpedo SONAR arrays and guidance systems for the Department of Defense, ensuring advanced capabilities in target detection, acquisition, and prosecution.Develop and integrate software applications, provide diagnostics/debugging for existing code, and ensure system performance for deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve software and system issues and document development processes, including test plans, design documentation, and maintaining design requirements.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.Clearance Requirements:
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.Experience and Skills:
Proficiency in C/C++, object-oriented development, and Windows application development (Win32, WPF, WinUI 3).Hands-on experience with National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, MATLAB, Visual Studio, and SQL/SQL Server.Strong knowledge of software design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and Windows kernel-level debugging using tools like Windows DDK or WinDBG.Experience with Windows low-level systems development, APIs, and technical architecture decisions.Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control, branching strategies, and automated build/test/deploy pipelines.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers) and communication protocols (GPIB, RS232, SPI).Experience with hardware integration, data acquisition, and National Instruments hardware (PXI, CRIO, CDAQ).Your Recruiter Still have questions?
