AHMG’s advanced practice providers manage the treatment and care for our patients in the practice setting, as well as at AdventHealth’s eleven campuses in Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Celebration, AdventHealth for Children, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Orlando, Winter Park, Waterman, Winter Garden, and AdventHealth for Women **AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology – Winter Park Nurse Practitioner, ARNP or Physician Assistant, PA-C** **Full Time Position** **General Summary:** **The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s), who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:** + Performs physical examinations as needed and monitors cardiology & interventional cardiology patients in the clinic and hospital setting in Winter Park: new patient visits, pre-& post-procedure care, follow up + See patients independently and support hospital call • Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc + Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed + Collaborates with physician and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff + Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth + Candidate must be able to pass a third-party background check and pre-employment drug screen **Knowledge and Skills Required:** + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, parents and hospital medical staff + Enthusiastic team player + Willingness to learn + Flexible, adaptable to change + Strong communication skills **Schedule Details:** + Inpatient and Outpatient rotating schedule; One week Inpatient Monday-Friday, 2 – 3 weeks outpatient with potential for 4 day work week. + Campus: AH Winter Park **Required Education/Experience:** + Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies + 2-3 years experience in cardiology **Licensure, Certification, and Registration:** + Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license or ability to obtain + ANCC, AANP or NCCPA certification required. + Current BLS and ACLS **Category:** Physician Services **Req ID:** WP-2025-A12-HLVI-CardNonInv-New We are an equal opportunity employer and do not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age or disability/handicap with respect to recruitment, selection, placement, promotion, wages, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
