Summary:

The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for driving B2B advertising across Naylor’s Association media products and services. This includes selling advertising for print publications, and digital platforms (owned and third-party).  This role focuses on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by maximizing the revenue potential of assigned Association projects, growing existing client relationships, and developing new business prospects.

 

Success is measured by meeting or exceeding monthly revenue and sales goals across all channels, including print, online, and programmatic, as well as by achieving year-over-year growth. The Sales Representative must work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet personal and company objectives.

 

The position will be based in a Naylor Association Solutions office (Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL)

Responsibilities Advertising Sales: Sell advertising for assigned projects (print, digital, programmatic) consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Manage digital inventory and ensure successful project completion.Account Management: Grow and maintain relationships with assigned accounts, providing exceptional customer service and building meaningful connections with advertisers, sponsors, and businesses.New Business Development: Identify and close new business opportunities, renewing and expanding contracts within your territory.Revenue Achievement: Consistently achieve or surpass project revenue goals, with a focus on sell-through performance and digital sales growth.Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries within 12 hours, ensuring excellent service.CRM Management: Keep Salesforce up to date daily, logging all sales activities (calls, emails, meetings, tasks) and maintaining a detailed and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce.Professional Growth: Commit to ongoing professional development as defined by your Group Publisher. Meet daily and weekly sales activity targets.Technology Utilization: Leverage company technologies, such as Media Radar and ZoomInfo, to optimize sales strategies and performance.Sales Presentations: Deliver professional, honest, and compliant sales presentations, providing clients with rate information, media kits, and relevant resources.Lead Generation: Actively source and develop advertising leads using various platforms like LinkedIn, Media Radar, ZoomInfo, and other industry tools.Industry Knowledge: Build in-depth knowledge of assigned industries and publications, utilizing available resources to enhance the effectiveness of sales efforts.Ad Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all advertising copy, reports, and records.Team Collaboration: Participate in mandatory sales meetings and team gatherings, fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve advertisement issues in a timely and professional manner.Travel: May be tasked with traveling to industry trade shows and events for sales and marketing efforts (25% of less).Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of stable, full-time work experience, preferably in advertising sales or digital media sales.  Programmatic sales experience is imperative.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Proven track record in developing new business and growing existing accounts.Excellent verbal communication and strong writing skills, particularly for formal email communications.Experience in managing volume- including ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Desire to work in a high-energy, dynamic, competitive, and fast paced environment. Ability to research industries and identify prospective clients that align with association markets.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, or similar software, including word processing and spreadsheets.Commitment to Naylor’s core values, including operating with honesty and integrity, respect for others, and teamwork.Reliable transportation and access to dependable Wi-Fi.
