Directs, facilitates, and coordinates systematic organization-wide item standardization and profiling. Collaborates with department management and service line in support of systematic item standardization.
Job Responsibility
Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Supply Chain function. Coordinates a portfolio of procurement contracts for products, equipment, and services; performs spend analysis. Identifies non-labor cost reduction opportunities. Manages and reports price changes and rebates. Approves short payment, prepayment, overrides, and other special terms; develops and maintains professional business relations with current and potential suppliers. Monitors vendor performance and end-user satisfaction throughout the term of the contract; maintains compliance with government laws and regulations. Participates in new product request process and developing and evaluating product performance requirements. Coordinates and analyzes request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and bids for service line. Participates in service line’s product conversion process; solicits and analyzes proposals. Leads negotiation of contract price, terms and conditions for supplies, and equipment and service, as needed. Expedites the contract through signature. Supports organization Value Analysis Team (VAT) process; prepares and presents concise, accurate analysis summaries to VAT; oversees contract tracking system to ensure timely renewal/bid process and notification of expirations. Prepares management reports regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. Performs related duties as required. Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. 10+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required.*Additional Salary Detail
