What Strategic Sourcing Indirect contributes to Cardinal Health

Strategic Sourcing Indirect is responsible for developing and executing strategy to source IT indirect goods and services to support our business stakeholders and programs. Perform analysis to determine Enterprise IT demand and forecasting for software/hardware repairs and maintenance and SaaS contract renewals. Provide data, analytics and reporting for repairs and maintenance, SaaS, and supplier spend. Assist category managers with supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. May work within various procurement systems to assist IT with procurement processes, issuing purchase requisitions, entering goods receipts, and resolving invoice disputes.

Responsibilities

Advisor for assigned repair, maintenance and SaaS contract renewals, with a focus on hardware and softwarePrimary partner support for key IT stakeholders within assigned contract renewalsWork closely with sourcing teams and IT to provide analytics and reporting for repair, maintenance SaaS renewals and spendAssist in performing quality audits on information contained within appropriate tracking toolsCoordinate internal IT teams to formalize future demand requirements for assigned projectsInitiate new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing indirect supplier contractsIdentifies innovative procurement solutions that provide cost savings and process efficiencies for the organizationsDrive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholdersSubmit BuyNow purchase requests within assigned projects

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience, preferred in indirect procurement, finance, or IT. Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredIT hardware/telecom/network sourcing experience preferredAbility to provide analytics and reporting to all levels within organizationStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise

** Internal candidates have to be in a P2/P3/M1 role for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible to apply for this position.
