This position is to work as an Advisory Researcher in a team of PC Innovation and Ecosystem (PCIE) Lab, Intelligent Ecosystem.
We are looking for a passionate candidate who is deeply skilled and innovative to join our research and development team as an AI OS Researcher. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for advancing the state-of-the-art in artificial intelligence systems, with a focus on developing robust and scalable OS designed specifically for AI-driven applications. This role requires a deep understanding of both AI algorithms and OS architecture, as well as a passion for exploring how these can be integrated to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Role and Responsibility
Cutting-edge ResearchTrack and analyse the latest technological trends and research achievements in the field of AI OSExplore the application of new AI algorithms and models in the operating system, such as resource management, task scheduling, intelligent optimization, etc.System Design and DevelopmentParticipate in the architecture design and system implementation of AI OS, including but not limited to kernel, file system, driver, and other modules.Optimize the performance of the existing operating system and improve the resource utilization and response speed of the system by combining AI technology.Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the effect of new AI OS functions and performance improvements.Cooperation and CommunicationWork closely with cross-functional teams (including hardware engineers, software developers, product managers, UX/UE, etc.) to ensure the compatibility and collaborative work of AI OS with other system components.Requirements
Experience
Master or Ph.D in computer/information science, electronics engineering, or a related field.5+ years’ R&D experience in operating systems, familiar with mainstream OS architectures. 2+ years’ experience in AI algorithms and AI application development is prefered.Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, etc., with good programming habits and code specifications.Good teamwork spirit and communication skills. Experience of collaborating with other researchers or engineers in a global work environment is prefered.Skill, Competency
