Job Description

The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory specific to a particular industry vertical (e.g., Healthcare & Life Science).

Serve as a thought leader on IT Asset Management (inclusive of hardware asset management, software asset management) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for ServiceNowDevelop and maintain strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide and advocate for product enhancements, roadmap additions and to relay feedback from the field & customersCreate and own programs that enable / train Solution Consultants and Sellers to demonstrate the value of ITAM and EAMCreate and own efforts to generate and mature ITAM and EAM pipeline for customers within the United States (e.g., webinars, in person events, workshops)Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITAM solutions created on the ServiceNow platformAssist the sales personnel in qualification of customer needs and performing business value assessments to determine value for clientsDemonstrate of solutions - both standard and tailored - to prospects and existing customersRespond to requests for information / proposal (RFIs, RFPs)Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospectsSupport Marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars, summits, practitioner workshopsStay current on competitive analysis and understand how to best position ServiceNow solution to ensure we keep ahead of opportunities, obstacles, and challengesUnderstand business and technical problems addressed by the product including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.Up to 20% travel required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has the following

7+ years of relevant professional experience, 2 of which are directly with the ServiceNow platform, preferably with the ITAM product suiteExceptional communication and presentation skills, including technical and business concepts associated with optimizing/streamlining costsAbility to forge strong business relationships and connect with personnel at the staff through C-level (at customer accounts as well as with individuals within the ServiceNow ecosystem)Strong presales experience and mastery of the sales process OR strong ServiceNow implementation experience (as an implementation partner / vendor or customer)Exhibit prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $131,925 - $217,725, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
