Requisition Summary

PACCAR Corporate Emission Compliance team is looking for an AECD (Auxiliary Emission Control Device) compliance engineer, reporting directly to the Global AECD Manager.

 

 

Job Functions and Responsibilities

Conduct AECD functional analysis with product development teams and global suppliers. Manage AECD certification document development, provide continuous improvement and prepare documents for agency submission. Operate Running Change certification document development tools specific to US regulations. Support any US certification agency (CARB or EPA) meeting preparations and discussions. Assist with presentations on AECD updates to US agencies as needed. Assist responding to agency inquiries related to US-based AECD compliance. Work effectively with cross-functional teams within the US organization and collaborate with external suppliers on AECD topics. Provide regular status updates and attend internal AECD and AES/BES team meetings. Analyze and report Portable Emission Analyzers’ data for AECD compliance.

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in emissions compliance, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong understanding of relevant US environmental regulations (e.g., EPA emissions regulations). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Any heavy duty product development experience is a plus, especially in powertrain software development and/or calibration areas. Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
