AEL Inventory Specialist

JOB SUMMARY Encompasses various disciplines of logistics, inventory analysis and customer support, including monitoring stock levels against usage review to ensure appropriate inventory settings at all warehouse locations. Initiating inventory audits and cycle counts of company assets. Company-wide fleet tracking and support. All aspects of shipment management from regular mail to LTL freight ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Inventory Analysis & Management · Analyzes AOG/ASAP requests daily using Ramco generated emails and logs data to include, MR ordering, fulfillment method, tracking information, internal inventory usage, RMO stocking level and stock receipt time stamps. · Compiles list of inventory items located at field bases that are in excess of the base standard inventory and coordinates to have the excess items returned to appropriate stocking facilities · Assists with recording compliance of inspections and tracked maintenance tasks and updating configuration of tracked components upon receipt of the components into Company inventory · Assists with maintaining electronic inventory system by inputting new part numbers and maintaining system data for individual part numbers and updating alternation settings following maintenance management approval of part alternations · Assists in the monitoring of the inventory count process by creating inventory count plans for annual physical inventory and periodic cycle counts and performing post count updates · Processes requests for non-aviation inventory located at Company headquarters · Processes drop shipment receipts for items delivered directly to field bases Logistics and Shipping · Processes incoming and outgoing mail and maintains shipping supplies at Company headquarters · Assists with scheduling LTL shipments for movement of company assets. · Oversees company fleet vehicles by maintaining service records and mileage tracking, obtaining state inspections and vehicle licenses and renewals, and distributes communication for recalls to impacted drivers OTHER DUTIES Other duties and special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience: · Previous experience with inventory and logistics functions ideal · Previous experience with RAMCO ideal Education: • High school diploma or equivalent • DOT Hazmat Basic General Awareness online course must be completed within the first 6 months of employment.
