BRP is looking for a Senior AEM Developer to join our Web team. In this role, you’ll work within a dynamic group of full-stack developers under the responsibility of a Web Development Team Lead, specialized in AEM, and collaborate with a Product Owner and a multidisciplinary Web team (UX/UI, SEO, IT, Web specialists and coordinators).

As a senior team member, you’ll take ownership of driving technical excellence in AEM, mentoring team members, optimizing platform capabilities, and contributing to the automation and performance improvements.

You’ll play a critical role in improving our AEM implementation, enabling best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning
 

AEM Development & Implementation:

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of AEM solutions, including components, templates, workflows, and integrations.

Optimize content authoring workflows and ensure AEM best practices are implemented.

Design scalable solutions to enhance the platform's performance and efficiency.

Team Mentorship & Growth:

Mentor and guide full-stack developers to enhance their AEM knowledge and capabilities.

Share insights, conduct code reviews, and lead internal training sessions to upskill the team.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:

Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless front-end integration and user-centric experiences.

Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement technical SEO best practices within AEM.

Work closely with Product Owners to align platform improvements with business objectives.

Platform Optimization & Automation:

Identify opportunities for automation to streamline content publishing and platform management.

Research and implement tools, plugins, and processes to maximize AEM capabilities.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring the platform’s stability and reliability.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

Excellent verbal communication skills (in either French or English).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component and template development.

Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and AEM-related technologies.

Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with modern headless frameworks (specifically React).

Strong understanding of platform optimization and automation best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure).

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Knowledge of additional Adobe tools (Target, Analytics, etc.).

Experience integrating third-party APIs and services within AEM.

Familiarity with visual assets management, modification, and optimization (e.g., Smart Cropping, Smart Imaging, DAM).

Soft Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality work.
