AEM Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in AEM and Adobe AEM specifically within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to the development and enhancement of our insurance solutions. This role does not require travel.

Location: Remote

Experience: 6 - 10 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AEM-based solutions to meet the needs of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements. Ensure that all AEM components are optimized for performance and scalability. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM. Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure that all solutions are compliant with industry regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AEM and Adobe AEM technologies and best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions.

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in AEM and Adobe AEM with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations. Have a deep understanding of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain and its specific requirements. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Show proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript. Have experience with version control systems such as Git. Display a strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies. Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Have experience with agile development methodologies. Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work.

Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)
