Aeroshell Materials SME
Job Description Our client is seeking to add an Aeroshell Materials SME to their team in Houston or Denver. The Aeroshell Materials SME will be responsible for engineering composite materials systems for aerospace applications and collaborating with project leaders. This role involves leading the materials manufacturing engineering efforts for critical projects, including the Avcoat composite heatshield material on the spacecraft and contributing to the success of high-profile missions. The SME will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the program office, contributing to risk analysis, and presentation of key metrics to stakeholders. They will initiate root cause investigations to uncover opportunities for process improvement and defect reduction, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and technical challenges are addressed effectively.
