Aerospace Assembler
**Job Title: Aerospace Assembler** **Job Description** Join our team as an Aerospace Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling engine cowlings and sheet metal components for top aerospace clients. You will use blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble built components and parts, and perform electric bond checks. This role requires the use of power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque equipment. **Responsibilities** + Read blueprints and standard operating procedures to complete assembly of built components and parts. + Assemble engine cowlings and sheet metal components. + Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque equipment to assemble parts. + Perform electric bond checks. + Understand and follow Honeywell specifications (a plus). **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace. + 2-3 years of assembly experience. + Experience with large parts. + Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and torque equipment. + Basic quality verification practices (torque settings, electrical bond checks, dimensional measurements). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Commercial or Military Aircraft engines is a huge plus. + Understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus. + Follow all health and safety guidelines. + Experience in automotive or other industries is acceptable. **Why Work Here?** We offer internal benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401K, stock options, tuition reimbursement, and PTO. Employees are considered for direct hire upon reaching 720 straight time hours worked. **Work Environment** Our aerospace manufacturing facility is located on-site at Honeywell near the Sky Harbor Airport. We maintain a very team-oriented and tight-knit work environment. Our company follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles and guidelines. The available shifts are: 1st shift from 6AM to 2:30PM Monday through Friday or 6AM to 3:30PM and Friday 6AM to 10AM (depending on the department), 2nd shift from 2:15PM to 11:45PM Monday through Friday and Friday 2:15PM to 6:15PM, and weekend shift from 2:15PM to 11:45PM Thursday through Sunday. Training on days is required for a couple of weeks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
