Job Description
Join our team as an Aerospace Assembler where you will be responsible for the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components, supporting major aerospace clients such as Honeywell, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Cessna. This role involves reading blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble built components and parts, utilizing power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque tools. An understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus.
ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and SOPs to complete the assembly of built components and parts.Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque tools to assemble parts.Complete electric bond checks.Follow basic quality verification practices, including torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements.Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.Essential Skills2-3 years of assembly experience.2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment highly preferred.Experience with large parts.Mechanical assembly skills.Proficiency with blueprints and schematics.Basic understanding of quality verification practices (torque settings, electrical bond checks, dimensional measurements).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the automotive or other industries is acceptable.Experience with commercial or military aircraft engines is a huge plus.Understanding of Honeywell specifications is a plus.Military experience (Air Force, Army, Marines) is valued.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an aerospace manufacturing environment located on-site at Honeywell near Sky Harbor Airport. Our facility fosters a team-cultured, tight-knit group atmosphere and follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. The 2nd shift hours are 2:15 PM – 11:45 PM Monday through Friday and 2:15 PM – 6:15 PM on Friday. The weekend shift runs from 2:15 PM – 11:45 PM Thursday through Sunday. Candidates must be able to train on days for a couple of weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
