Aerospace Assembler
Aerotek is hiring Aerospace Manufacturing Technicians to support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of critical flight hardware and prototype aerospace components. This role requires expertise in electro-mechanical assembly, blueprint and schematic reading, and troubleshooting. Candidates should have experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: • Fabricate, assemble, and validate critical flight hardware, including mechanical and electrical components • Assist engineers in prototype hardware manufacturing, infrastructure development, and testing • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and flight drawings to ensure precise assembly • Perform troubleshooting and testing of electrical and mechanical systems • Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality teams • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards • Work with manufacturing and facilities teams to optimize processes and ensure production efficiency • Follow detailed process instructions and quality assurance protocols Skills & Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in aerospace, mechanical assembly, or electro-mechanical manufacturing • Ability to read and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical components • Experience with hand tools, crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools • Familiarity with soldering, harnessing, and crimping (J-STD or NASA certifications preferred) • Knowledge of adhesives, chemical cleaners, and coatings used in aerospace manufacturing • Experience with electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us? • Competitive pay ($22 – $35/hr DOE) – Weekly Pay • Fast hiring process – Interviews next week, immediate start • Work on cutting-edge aerospace technology in a dynamic environment • Career growth opportunities in aerospace manufacturing **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
