Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Aerospace Assembler to join our team on the weekend shift. You will be responsible for the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components, working with blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure precision and quality.
ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and SOPs to complete the assembly of built components and parts.Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque wrenches to assemble parts.Complete electric bond checks.Understand Honeywell specifications to ensure compliance (preferred but not required).Essential Skills2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment (highly preferred).2-3 years of assembly experience.Experience with large parts.Proficiency with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.Experience using power tools and hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with commercial or military aircraft engines is a plus.Basic quality verification practices, including torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements.Adherence to health and safety guidelines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in an aerospace manufacturing environment located on-site at Honeywell near the Sky Harbor Airport. Our facility emphasizes a team culture, following Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles.
Shift hours are as follows:
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM (work 36 hours and get paid for 40)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
