Spherion is looking for an Assessor to support our customer in Everett! The Assessor is responsible for administering hands-on mechanical assessments for learners in a controlled testing environment. The Assessor evaluates hands-on projects that simulate real-world aircraft parts and systems. The primary duty is to objectively assess a learner's ability to correctly complete the assigned task without providing any instruction, coaching, or assistance. ... The role also includes classroom preparation, learner validation, and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:
-Administer and oversee hands-on mechanical assessments.
-Provide learners with lab rules, task instructions, tools, and parts required for the test.
-Objectively evaluate learner performance and assign a pass or fail grade.
-Ensure learners adhere to safety protocols and testing procedures.
-Maintain a professional and controlled testing environment.
-Manage classroom cleanliness and readiness.
-Verify learner identification and record assessment results accurately.
-Input and maintain accurate learner performance data.
-Collaborate with Instructors and Proctors to ensure smooth assessment operations.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
-Previous experience in customer service
-Background in aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-1-3 years training, leadership or management experience preferred
-Good understanding of mechanical principles and tool usage.
-Experience in a technical or hands-on mechanical field.
-Proficiency in basic computer applications for data entry and documentation.

Veterans are encouraged to apply!

-Flexibility to work across shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and travel within a geographic area ranging from Everett to Auburn.
-Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the nearest work location
