The Pall Aerospace team is seeking summer Interns responsible for assisting design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.

The individual will spend time, through rotational assignment (or tailored assignments), with primary functions of the Engineering Department, to build sound foundational knowledge and skills.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Aerospace Engineering team located in New Port Richey Florida and will be an on-site role.

In this internship you will have the opportunity to:

Design product to conform to customer specifications and requirements.

Use engineering tools including Catia 3-D solid modelling software, and basic finite element analysis tools.

Perform dimensional tolerance analysis, fluid flow calculations, and basic stress calculations.

Creation of manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation for the production of new products.

Perform any calculations that are required to verify designs will meet customer requirements.

The requirements of the internship

2 years into Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (Mechanical, General, Aerospace, Product Design, etc.).                                             

Experienced in spreadsheet analysis, report writing, and 3-D solid modelling software.

Familiar with engineering software e.g. Matlab.

It would be a plus if you also posses experience in

Basic knowledge in the areas of stress analysis and fluid dynamics.

Modelling and 2-D Drafting skills.

Good working knowledge of the design process.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
