As a Quality Aerospace Technician you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEnsure product conformity to established requirements by evaluating products against customer and/or engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents.\r\n\tApprove incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.\r\n\tPerform inspections (Receiving, 1st Article, Mechanical, In-Process, and Final) of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable engineering criteria, documents, drawings, and workmanship standards. Document results in various reports/logs.\r\n\tRead and interpret information from planning documents, engineering drawings, quality control specifications, schematics, calibration reports, and quality inspection procedures to develop accurate records of inspection.\r\n\tPerform inspections using precision measurement equipment/devices.\r\n\tConduct functional testing of assembled units.\r\n\tEnsure proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructions. Coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, and gauges used for product acceptance or verification/validation.\r\n\tInspect and test products throughout the complete manufacturing process to ensure all production procedure specifications are met.\r\n\tProcess non-conformance reports; assist engineering and operations in the investigation of non-conformities.\r\n\tMaintain a safe and clean work environment by following guidelines and procedures and complying with all applicable regulations.\r\n\tApprove or reject finished products.\r\n\tDetermine specifications by reading blueprints, specifications, and other documents.\r\n\tDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.\r\n\tInspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.\r\n\tMeasure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.\r\n\tConduct 6-Axis inspection with probe and laser scanner arm and inspection software.\r\n\tWrite detailed inspection reports.\r\n\tEstablish proper receiving inspection processes.\r\n\tComply with ITAR/EAR regulations.\r\n\tComply with AS9100 Quality Management System, including duties such as internal auditing and specification review.\r\n\tAssist with developing, maintaining, or updating employee work instructions and quality systems procedures to continuously improve existing processes.\r\n\tProvide training to new and current employees.\r\n\tInterface with customers, suppliers, and/or regulatory agencies as appropriate.\r\n\tProduce and process NCMR reports.\r\n\tCoordinate MRB reviews.\r\n\tPerform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $20-28/hr

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExtensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment, including surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators. Good manual dexterity and adept in the use of precision measuring tools.\r\n\tAbility to operate electronic inspection equipment, such as coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs).\r\n\tExperience using an inspection arm, conducting 6-Axis inspection with probe and laser scanner (Hexagon preferred) arm and inspection software (PC-DIMS preferred).\r\n\tExperience writing detailed inspection reports.\r\n\tKnowledge of GD&T.\r\n\tExperience with testing electrical devices using voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to test potential difference, current flow, and resistance.\r\n\tProficiency in Excel.\r\n\tExperience calibrating hand tools.\r\n\tDetail-oriented with good communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of personnel.\r\n\r\n\r\n
