**Job Title: Manufacturing Assistant - Day Shift** **Job Description** We are looking for a Manufacturing Assistant to join our day shift team. This entry-level aerospace position involves assisting in various departments, operating equipment such as Hydraulic Presses, Waterjets, Punch Presses, and CNC machines, deburring parts using handheld tools and grinders, inspecting products per customer requirements, maintaining production levels, keeping a clean and orderly work environment, and performing equipment maintenance. Adherence to state and federal laws, company quality programs, policies, and safety and environmental regulations is required. **Responsibilities** + Assist in a variety of departments. + Run equipment such as Hydraulic Presses, Waterjets, Punch Presses, and CNC machines. + Deburr parts using handheld tools and grinders. + Inspect product per customer requirements. + Maintain an acceptable level of production. + Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. + Perform equipment maintenance. + Adhere to and comply with state and federal laws, company quality programs, procedures, policies, and safety and environmental regulations. **Essential Skills** + Production experience. + Mechanical aptitude. + Ability to deburr metal parts. + Production support experience. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ready to learn. + Ability to stay focused and alert while performing repetitive tasks. + Punctual, polite, and respectful of coworkers. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401k with a 5% match, and quarterly bonuses.
