**Aerospace Material Handler** **Job Description** Performs a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. Prepares items for shipment ensuring cost-effective courier services. Leads the work of shipping and receiving personnel performing related work. Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities. **Hard Skills** + Knowledge of Internet Explorer, Word, and Excel + Experience with precision measuring equipment and industrial power tools (preferred but not required) + Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints + Familiarity with Industrial Band Saws and Forklifts **Soft Skills** + Effective communication skills + Ability to take direction from Lead, Supervisor, or Manager + Strong organizational skills + Ability to communicate/follow instructions or directions in English, verbally and in writing **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Tukwila, Washington. **Work Environment** Clean and organized aerospace machine shop **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
