We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, with experience supporting the Air Force and aerospace engineering sectors. This role will focus on depot maintenance and the production, repair, and maintenance of aerospace parts and systems, so expertise in aerospace electronics, propulsion, and mechanical systems is required. A Professional Engineer (PE) license from a US state or territory is desired. Aerospace Part Production and Maintenance: Oversee and contribute to the production and depot maintenance of aerospace parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Engineering Design and Analysis: Apply engineering principles to design, analyze, and optimize aerospace systems and components. Use CAD software and other tools to create and modify engineering designs.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and solutions for issues related to electronics, propulsion systems, and mechanical components in aerospace systems.
Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Ensure quality projects are completed on time and within budget.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations and military and aerospace industry standards. Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation and reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and other engineering departments to ensure seamless operations and successful project outcomes.
