Currently seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will work closely with a small team to further the quality efforts of the company. Previous experience in a regulated environment, preferably in Aerospace Machining, with strong experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is paramount.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality standards and procedures are adhered to in the manufacturing process.Collaborate with team members to enhance quality efforts within the company.Perform Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) tasks to ensure precision and compliance.Work within a regulated Machine Shop environment, maintaining high standards of quality.Potentially oversee non-destructive testing processes.Essential SkillsQuality engineeringGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Experience in aerospace machiningExperience in a regulated Machine Shop environmentSeven years of experience in a quality manufacturing environmentBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial)Government Clearance Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with non-destructive testingWork EnvironmentThe team consists of five individuals, most of whom have grown within the company, seeking outside expertise.The work hours are 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.Career progression is possible for the right candidate, potentially leading to a Quality Manager position or other advancements as the company continues to grow.About Actalent
