Aerospace Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing packages, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the cleanliness of the receiving area. This role requires someone who can efficiently handle materials, operate forklifts, and accurately document transactions in our ERP system.

ResponsibilitiesGreet vendors delivering packages and sign for incoming packages.Unload and load semi-trucks (no loading dock available).Accurately count and receive products in the ERP system.Perform weekly pickups and drop-offs; must be 25 years of age or older with an acceptable driving record.Maintain the tidiness of the receiving area.Assist in prepping parts for paint in the OSP (Outside Processing) area.Essential SkillsExperience with shipping and receiving.Inventory control knowledge.Ability to lift boxes and handle materials.Proficiency with ERP systems.Forklift operation experience.Familiarity with RF scanners.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be 25 years of age or older.Acceptable driving record for weekly pickups and drop-offs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean machine shop located in the Sumner/Puyallup area with a growing team of around 46 employees. Our work schedule is a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with shifts from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
