To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline such as Software Development. In this job, you will support requirements-based testing, verification and validation, and process/tool improvement/development of spacecraft systems. Job Duties: · Perform requirements traceability to and from Test Cases and Procedures · Develop and manage testing artifacts in change management system(s) · Work across functional teams to investigate and solve problems, including trade studies and optimization activities · Work in automated simulation and test emulation environments · Support verification testing and planning, procedures and testing activities · Perform verification related activities in a process-oriented environment consistent with industry regulatory approval standards (DO-178). Specifically, perform verification strategy, planning, method definition, procedure development, compliance and testing · Help raise the level of performance of the team through a collaborative team setting, consistent communication, and willingness to help others achieve success · Apply strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clarity and be responsive to the team and its stakeholders · Define and review test cases and procedures Qualifications: · BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline · Familiar with aerospace software life cycle development to DO-178C DAL C or higher (or similar) · Familiarity with embedded systems · Revision control experience (SVN, Git, other) · Linux/Unix experience · Ability to deal with ambiguity, investigate and solve problems, work across multi-discipline teams, and to recommend solutions to complex system level problems · Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities · Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required: This requires US Citizenship only due to the nature of the work Desired Skills: · Knowledge of aerospace and/or aircraft systems is highly desirable · Experience with automation/tool development/qualification is favorable · Experience with DOORS is a plus Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary of $68,640 to $81,120. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
