THE WORK
CAFO Romeo platform Quality Manager to oversee the execution of company, customer, and DCMA quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the aircraft production process including supporting, regulatory and contract requirements. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies, DAFR Requirements, and AS9100. Partners with operations, programs, and engineering to meet Safety, Quality and Contract requirements. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Ensures Quality assurance plans are documented, current and implemented. Ensures compliance with customer, company and 3rd party audits and corrective actions are supported and maintained. Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Has the ability to manage and oversee salary leaders and the represented work force. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experienced leader with a minimum of 8 years in various Quality positions with increasing responsibility.
Experience building a strong team of direct and matrixed employees.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.
Strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause analysis and process management.
Desired skills are additional skills that are nice to have and help narrow down a qualified candidate pool.

Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external customers.

Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline.
Experienced in implementing and maintaining AS9100-certified Quality Management Systems.
Extensive knowledge of DOD contract requirement, Quality Assurance Management and Quality Engineering.
Talent development and team building skills.
Strong communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with executive leadership on strategic and tactical issues affecting the quality of products delivered.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
