Job Summary: 

The TAM Manager within the Aerospace Defense and Transportation Vertical at Siemens Industry Software is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the presales function within the Technical Account Management organization. This role involves leading a team of 

presales TAMs, defining presales strategies, and collaborating with sales, product management, and customer support teams to drive 

revenue growth and customer success. The TAM Manager plays a critical role in leading and developing the TAM organization in the SaaS 

transformation focusing on Landing and Expanding strategist opportunities of Siemens Industry Software's products and services within the top named accounts for the AD&T vertical.


Key Responsibilities: 

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the presales team within the manufacturing domain. Set clear goals and objectives, 

   establish performance metrics, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

• Presales Strategy: Develop and execute presales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and sales targets. Define 

   processes, methodologies, and best practices aligned with our Go to Market to streamline presales activities and maximize effectiveness. 

• Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and prospects to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and 

   strategic objectives to best align solutions to meet their needs. Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to help customers 

   navigate their digital transformation journey. 

• Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Provide technical expertise, sales support, 

   and guidance throughout the sales cycle, from lead qualification to deal closure. Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof 

   of concepts to showcase Siemens Industry Software's capabilities and win customer confidence. 

• Competitive Insights: Stay informed about the competitive landscape, and upcoming customer requirements. Identify new opportunities to 

   differentiate Siemens, refine solution offerings, and drive innovation. 

• Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing presales team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development 

   opportunities to empower team members and foster professional growth. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product management, customer success, marketing, and other internal 

   teams to align presales activities with business priorities, product roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies. Act as a liaison between presales 

   and other functions to ensure effective communication and collaboration. 


Minimum Experience 

• BS/BA (or relevant Technical Degree) in engineering, manufacturing, or computer science related discipline 

• 5+ Years’ experience PLM software (Product Lifecycle Management software) Domain Experience 

• 5+ Years’ experience of direct management experience, and leading successful teams within the software industry 

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 

• Must be open to an average of 30% - 50% travel, mostly domestic 

• Excellent verbal group presentation and written communications skills 

• Must be able to work remote (virtual office), and currently be located in the United States.  This is a firm requirement.

• Self-starter, motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision, able to self-learn 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Preferred  Experience 

• 10+ years Siemens Xcelerator PLM Domain Experience 

• Experience as a Technical Account Manager or in Sales within the Digital Enterprise space 

• Proven success and Leadership experience in a Design/Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Service Engineering role in the Aerospace and Defense or Automotive and Transportation industry

• 5- 10yrs+ Years’ experience within the Aerospace & Defense or Automotive & Transportation Industry

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The total cash compensation range for this position is $164,200.00 to $328,400.00 with 15% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
