AETC/A2X Intelligence Planner

Leidos has an opening for an Intelligence Planner supporting the AETC/A2 Intelligence Directorate, AETC/A2X Intelligence Plans and Programs Division at Randolph AFB, TX. The Intelligence Planner will serve as an expert in Intelligence Training and Education Requirements processes and efforts, to include International Intelligence Training.

The AETC/A2 Intelligence Planner will:

Use strategic thinking and analytic thought to analyze planning and requirements-related efforts to develop appropriate recommendations to Directorate and Division leadership.Provide intelligence planning support to various Operational Planning Teams, Strategic Action Planning events, Requirements-related efforts. Participate and serve as a key advisor to engagements with other MAJCOMs and HAF A2/6. Demonstrate knowledge of intelligence capabilities, responsibilities, and procedures and how they apply to the AF, AETC and the Intelligence Directorate.Support the Intelligence Directorate in performing strategic and operational analysis and production with an emphasis on intelligence support related to AETC planning and Intelligence training and education requirements efforts. Serve as the AETC/A2 (A2X) expert for International Intelligence Training. Assist Branch and Division leadership in developing and maintaining a Strategy for International Intelligence Training as well as processes to develop, validate, and prioritize training requirements. Coordinate with key stakeholders across the AF, AETC, and other MAJCOMs. Serve as the AETC/A2 expert for International Intelligence Training. Analyze key information and evaluate the effectiveness of alternative solutions, courses of action, and strategies needed to address complex, controversial, and multi-faceted issues.Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, instructions, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) within the Air Force and DoD and make recommendations to ensure compliance and / or consideration.Generate weekly updates to the director and division leadership in the form of briefings and established written reports. Meet all suspense’s as set by Directorate, Division, and Branch leadership. Perform independent, continuing, and detailed analysis for Intelligence training and education requirements and related processes. Assess the implications of proposals against AETC and intelligence directorate constraints.Analyze and evaluate intelligence systems, policies, and processes as they relate to AFSC awarding technical training and skills courses as well as provide support to advanced/supplemental training for Intelligence Airmen.Plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule own work activities to complete assignments in timely and effective manner. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications

Current Top Secret SCI Security ClearanceBachelor’s Degree and 5-10 years of relevant experienceAETC experienceMAJCOM staff (or equivalent) experienceExperience in Requirements ManagementMust have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partnersThorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Excellent critical thinking and briefing skills. Self-starter who also works well as part of a team.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
