Looking for Deployment Specialist/Administrator opening at a place you can make a difference every day?  Discover this great opportunity in our newly awarded USAF Civil Engineering Center, Readiness Directorate’s Air Force Contractor Augmentation Program Labor Support Services (AFCAP LSS) contract located at Tyndall AFB, FL.  Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our airmen by discovering your new role supporting this critical mission.

Serco supports AFCAP’s mission as a rapid response contingency contract mechanism providing U.S. Government entities a cost effective, yet highly responsive solution to meet urgent mission requirements.  Together with your team and our USAF customer you will leverage the private sector to serve as a force multiplier to augment military resources and provide rapid design/construction, service contracts, and/or logistics/commodity solutions in support of contingencies across the globe.

You will work with a team of managers, and a business operations analyst working closely with the AFCEC/CX customer as a Deployment Specialist. 

 

In this role you will provide advisory and assistance services in the following areas:

Travel Regulations and Policy.Deployment/Redeployment Processing, Training, and scheduling.Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker Enterprise Suite (SPOT-ES) AdministrationWar/Contingency Planning, Training, Exercises, Operations, and SupportGovernment Property regulatory experience/knowledgeInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); Export Administration Regulations (EAR); Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) and processes involved with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.Contract Management, Program Management and TrainingDocument & Information Management, Conflict of Interest and Non-Disclosure Support.Cost estimation & Fiscal Law.Funds Management, processing, tracking, accounting, Defense Finance & Accounting Service Integration, Returns.Contract Performance Management, Cost Control, Modifications, Task order/Contract Closeouts.Contractor Performance Assessments.Planning and attending site visits to include deployment processing.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

An active Secret Clearance.US CitizenshipHS Diploma/GEDSix years of relevant experience in Government Contract Management. (Requires qualification statements / resumes submitted)OR Bachelor's degree and 24 course hours in business-related courses in any of: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative.Two years’ experience as a Deployment Plans or Global Force Management administrator.Two years’ experience as a trainer/instructor teaching professional curriculum. One year working with USAF Wing level (or service equivalent) or higher.The ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

 

Additional desired experience and skills:

Experience teaching DoD Acquisition and or Contract Management.Experience supporting Department of Defense facility/infrastructure projects programs/projects.Experience working in and supporting DoD U.S. CENTRAL COMMAND (CENTCOM).
