Job purpose
The Affidavit Specialist is responsible for the intake and processing of customer and citizen inquiries and requests (via email, mail, fax, and other sources) such as the following:
Questions and inquiries from citizens regarding receipt of notices, next steps, and status Process and record documents pertaining to liability, hearings, payment, and other correspondence Provide necessary documents to customers and/or citizens as required Open, sort and scan incoming mailDuties and responsibilities:
Evaluate and process high volumes of customer and citizen requests in accordance with applicable business rules and statutes Become intimately familiar with the business rules for each customer and deliver timely and accurate service Provide exceptional customer service to citizens Process internal requests from operational or support teams as required. Adhere to assigned service levels.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel). Data Entry 40 wpm. Strong communication, both verbal and written. 1+ years of data entry experience required. Demonstrated ability to work and problem solve independently as well as recognize when to escalate issues. Make sound decisions and accept / act upon constructive feedback. Adhere to professional behavioral expectations and the ability to work well with different groups and departments. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Must be able to operate effectively and reliably in office and/or at home. Drug Test, Background Check and Fingerprint are required. Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods will be a requirement. Capable of reviewing data and/or images on a computer monitor for extended periods (typically 8 hours shifts). Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment.
