Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit church related organization, is seeking an Administrator for Westminster Gardens, a high-rise Rental Retirement Community in beautiful Tallahassee. Westminster Gardens has an active partnership with the Tallahassee Housing Authority and HUD to provide subsidized housing to over 150 seniors. This position is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the community and the provision of quality daily services to the residents. This position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, working with both residents and employees. Essential Job Functions:
Ensures all policies, procedures, and standards established by the organization are followed. Compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of the community. Oversight of staff including but not limited to the selection, development, evaluation, and retention of staff. Maintenance of all physical properties of the community to insure they are kept in good repair and operating condition. Ensures positive liaison between the residents, community staff, and Community Support Services personnel. Prepares for and ensures the community meets the internal and external audit standards.Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field required. Minimum of 3-years successful management experience in property management, supervisory and administrative experience. Experience in the retirement industry preferred. Experience with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations preferred. Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
