Seldin Company is seeking an Affordable Lease-Up Specialist in San Antonio, TX. This position will pay up to $53,000 annually, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education. 
*Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time.

What You Will Do

The Affordable Lease-Up Specialist is a pivotal resource for ensuring compliance across Seldin Company’s affordable housing portfolio. Acting as a liaison between Compliance, Regional, Property Operations leadership, and site teams, this role ensures the timely and accurate completion of compliance activities. With a strong emphasis on LIHTC expertise, the coordinator is responsible for file review, rapid processing, applicant follow-up, and ensuring properties meet regulatory and company standards. This role requires extensive travel to support compliance initiatives, address immediate property needs, and provide hands-on training and guidance. Travel may be 80% or greater.


Skills and Requirements

3-5 years related compliance certification processing experience

Apartment Lease-up Experience and/or training in (HUD, LIHTC, or other government-sponsored housing programs)

Extensive experience with LIHTC compliance, including certifications, file reviews, and regulatory reporting

Proficiency in property management and compliance software

Familiarity with other affordable housing programs, such as Section 8 or HOME

Previous experience in a roving or traveling compliance role

Ability to travel up to 100% of the time Competitive and Sales driven

 

Education, Licenses, or Certificates Required:

An associate degree or equivalent experience Candidates for this position must hold a national credential or certificate in LIHTC compliance and Multifamily Section 8 occupancy compliance or the ability to complete courses and pass exams within 30 days of employment


Experience Required:
