THE WORK
In this role, you will lead all aspects of assigned build positions for the CRH Aircraft on 1st shift. As the focal point for the final assembly line, you will drive operational excellence, employee development, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a dynamic and unionized environment. Your leadership will play a critical role in ensuring program success and the delivery of mission-critical aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Continuous Improvement tools to enhance safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
Oversee the performance of the final assembly line, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Drive employee development by fostering skill growth and preparing team members for future opportunities.
Lead quality initiatives, including 6S principles, standard work practices, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.
Manage direct and indirect budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Coordinate facilities maintenance schedules to support seamless operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision is required.
Candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible
Strong influencing skills
Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict Good at following and creating procedures
Strong Lean manufacturing / process improvement experience
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization
Previous manufacturing experience
8+ years of relevant experience
Successful applicant must be willing to work any shift and overtime
Desired Skills:
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina
Familiarity with aerospace industry preferred.
Experience managing a union environment
Previous Sikorsky Operations experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
