Job Summary

The (AFSO/ACPSO) Assistant Facility Security Officer / Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer reports directly to the FSO/CPSO and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by the Cleared Facility, the Department of Defense (DOD), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM and the DoDM 5205.07 Vol 1-4.

Job Responsibilities Assists the FSO/CPSO with the overall security  program Processes new employee security clearances. Tracks security clearance investigations and performs support functions pertaining to DISS, NBIS and NISS administration Provides security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel Processes outgoing and incoming visit requests and certifications Review required forms, processes, and screens security forms (SF85 and SF86) Ensures document control security by safeguarding classified documents in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and through coordination with government agencies, and the FSO Support other company security disciplines as needed in connection with classified/secure projects: Legal, Information Technology, and Corporate Communications Skills/Qualifications   Assist the FSO with staying compliant with the companies Special Security Agreement (SSA)   Work together with the trade/export compliance teams to ensure FOCI mitigation Support building access control system, including issuance and management of badges, access logs, and ensuring physical security Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

US Citizen High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2 years’ experience in security programs as AFSO or in related field Completion of FSO Program Management or completion within twelve months from start date Active Department of Defense Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity or related fields Preferred Certifications including any of the following: CPSO, ISP Strong knowledge of DISS, NBIS, NISS government programs, SF86, DD254, DD441 and SF 328 In-depth knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) requirements Understanding of Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) 3 and SEAD 4. Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft Office) and cybersecurity knowledge Must be able to interpret and implement security policy, provide guidance, oversight and assistance to company personnel Must be able to manage and oversee comprehensive Security Compliance Program Must have a basic understanding of Special Security Agreements   Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
