Position Summary: ESF Aftercare Teaching Assistant supports students, engages in after-school activities, provides a safe and fun learning environment, and serves as a positive role models. The hours are from 2:30pm-5:00pm or 2:30pm-6:00pm; Monday to Friday from Sept 2024 – June 2025 Start and end times may vary depending on the location.

Activities Include:
• Art
• Science
• Drama
• Sports
• Other activities offered: Games (e.g., Chess), Fencing, Martial Arts, Archery

Program Details:
• September 2024 – June 2025
• The Haverford School (450 Lancaster Ave, Haverford, PA)
• Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 5:00pm

Essential Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Aftercare Instructors on daily responsibilities.
• Participate in activities including homework, tutoring, character building, and more.
• Serve as a positive role model and uphold ESF Core Values.
• Complete assigned paperwork.

Experience and Education:
• Prior experience with children in group settings (teaching, coaching, tutoring, etc.).
• Minimum age: 18 years
• High School graduate; pursuing or completed college degree, preferably in education or child-related field.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 35 pounds
