Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional **Aftermarket Engineer I** based at our **Danville, IL** location.
What you will do:
· **Provide Technical Support:** Assist internal teams by interpreting engineering drawings, reviewing design changes, and troubleshooting technical issues.
· **Manage Technical Documentation:** Ensure accurate and timely release of engineering change notices (ECNs) and technical drawings while collaborating with stakeholders to identify optimal solutions.
· **Drive Cost Savings & Revenue Growth:** Identify and validate cost reduction opportunities and revenue-enhancing aftermarket parts or processes, ensuring successful implementation.
· **Support Product Development:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance aftermarket product offerings and improve efficiency.
· **Facilitate Continuous Improvement:** Apply technical expertise to streamline engineering processes, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion.

What you will need:
· **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
· **Experience:** Industry experience preferred but not required.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
· Proficiency in 3D CAD software for design interpretation and modifications.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
· Strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Compensation
The anticipated annual base starting salary range for this full-time position is $61,500 - $76,900 (USD). Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
