The Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for managing the team to achieve growth and booking targets for North American service plan sales. This team's sales in 2023 exceeded $38 million in total bookings. This position reports to the VP of Sales and Product Development and is part of the Sales team in San Jose, CA. It will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Forecast and manage monthly and quarterly aftermarket sales bookings and revenue for the team. + Work closely with Regional Sales and Service Managers, Finance, DBSLO, and Marketing to identify new aftermarket sales programs and improve customer satisfaction with aftermarket sales. + Develop go-to-market action plans through growth room and other DBS activities to specify competitive advantage to customers through service offerings and pricing structures and create a strategy for value selling to customers. + Continuously implement and improve standard work for the aftermarket sales team, develop KPIs, sales objectives, targets, and tracking tools for business growth. + Acquire and develop talent and adapt workforce competencies to meet evolving business needs while effectively managing change. + .Develop talent and team to be problem-solvers. The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field. + 5 plus years of experience in sales or marketing and a minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and/or managing teams, preferably in the life science industry. + Experience selling to researchers and companies that perform Biologics research and production. + Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM as well as MS Office (Word, Excel) + Negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a proven track record in achieving results, goals, and job metrics and who embrace and thrive on challenges. + Professional, self-starter, organized and driven individual. + Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment + Demonstratable positive experience with Danaher Business System tools preferred. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
