Duties Description Program DetailsThe Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) is recruiting applicants for the 2025 Attorney General Fellowship Program. The following are some program highlights:• This is a two (2) year program for six (6) law school graduates. • Placements begin in September 2025 and conclude in August 2027.• Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in working as a public service attorney. • Fellows work as junior attorneys and receive training and mentorship.• Fellows work to protect the rights and interests of the state and people of New York.• Fellows gain hands-on legal experience by working on investigations, affirmative and defensive litigation, and public education, and community outreach projects. For 2025, we have placements available in the following locations: • Albany, New York City, and Poughkeepsie• The AG Fellowship Team makes placement assignments based on the needs of the OAG. • Placement assignments take into the account the Fellows’ stated location preferences.• We are seeking applicants who have a genuine interest in working for the OAG and wish to do important legal work that serves the people and State of New York.
