Description: Job Summary:
The Agency Manager of Care at Home is accountable for managing the development, planning, design, delivery and evaluation/improvement of Care at Home services, programs and operations at multiple sites and service areas, when applicable. This position is accountable for profit/loss, performance management/improvement, regulatory compliance, policy and procedure administration and systems management. Ensures compliance with Medicare, TJC, and other federal, state, and local requirements. Under the direction of the Care at Home Service Line, this position develops, maintains and evaluates/improves practice standards and ensures consistent implementation and coordination of services. Responsible for the delivery of services/programs that add value and are integrated with Regional Care at Home programs and organizational strategic and business goals/objectives. This position will supervise staff.Essential Responsibilities:
Directs and organizes the operational staff in the design, delivery and evaluation/improvement of business operations and other Care at Home services/programs provided.Assures that services/programs meet or exceed cost, quality, standards, and performance measures including but not limited to profit/loss accountability, performance management/improvement, regulatory compliance administrative oversight, Home Care computerized applications.In collaboration with Care at Home Director of Patient Care Service and/or Service Line Administrator, develops and implements strategic planning across service lines to achieve the most cost-effective, efficient levels of business operation.Collaborates with physicians and continuing care to plan for and meet operational Care at Home needs. Designs and evaluates processes and policies/procedures to improve operational and technological systems. Ensures policies, practices and procedures comply with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements of Health Plan, governmental and accrediting agencies.Develops and monitors budgets and resource allocations. Monitors financial performance and identifies and implements strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of service/care.Coordinates change management, and guidance implementation with Care at Home regional operational teams for all service lines.Performs other non-clinical business functions as assigned. Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum five (5) years of either consulting, project management, healthcare operations or health insurance experience including minimum two (2) years working in healthcare.
Minimum three (3) years of healthcare management experience, to include managing people, programs and/or projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree required, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or GED required.
License, Certification, Registration

Demonstrate ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of data systems.

Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation.
Demonstrate an understanding of the operations and/or business of KP, health policy trends, and any applicable regulations related to the responsible practice area.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum six (6) years of consulting and project management experience including two (2) years working in healthcare preferred.
Master's degree strongly preferred.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Public Health (MPH), or Master of HealthCare Admin (MHA) preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Lean Process Improvement Certification preferred.
