Job DescriptionTo provide exceptional customer service to both internal & external customers and to achieve department’s objectives for timely freight processing, and associated admin tasks within the set KPI.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact with our customers in processing their international shipments by following Procedure set by the company in OPS, and meeting customer’s expectations. Understand department process flow and ensure correct entry timely.Preparation & Updating of DLSOP to ensure all customers standard operating procedures are in place.Screening of customer’s creditability before shipment.Screening of MK denial parties before shipment.Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing, within Expeditors and customer standards.Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers (Shipping lines, trucking companies and CFS Provider and others involved).Meet compliance requirements in accordance with government regulations. No fines, penalties or late filing.Ensure permit(s) are approve prior to shipment exportation.Comply with OPS and its quality standards by meeting its set KPI, including Timely Documentation and Timely Invoicing and others stated in OPS.Timely responses to emails (within 24 hours) and voicemails (within 1 hour) (internal and external)Escalation of problems to Management when necessaryTake up additional tasks as required to meet the Department’s needsMeeting 52 hours Training hours / year.QualificationsMinimum tertiary educational level1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus.Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.Pro-active, strong organizational skills.Good computer skills (Excel, Word) and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English.
