As an Agile coach, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of agile based activities and leading the development project team to implement iterative releases driven by the program. The Agile Coach will provide ‘change agent’ leadership in the area of agile best practices and transformation for the teams in the organization using the SAFe® Framework. As an Agile Coach, you will lead the coaching of multiple, distributed teams collaborating as ARTs, and be responsible for leading Agile transformation at a program/portfolio level. Your role includes direct coaching and support to projects. You should have strong Agile Project Management experience to also provide direct support in larger projects and SME support to all other teams to drive Agile at an enterprise level. You will coach RTE and function as RTE at times, Product Owners/Managers, Scrum Masters, and team members towards performing at their highest level. ***This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred locations are Lafayette, LA or Belton, TX; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable for those locations*** **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Drive organization-wide Agile adoption strategies and rollout plans. • Provide hands-on Agile coaching to teams, with a focus on SAFe practices, Scrum, and Agile project management. • Enable teams to improve predictability, productivity, and quality of delivery. • Coach teams and management on Agile processes and metrics. • Conduct workshops and training sessions to improve Agile maturity. • Evaluate team metrics and make actionable recommendations for improvement. • Capture feedback to enhance Agile training materials and guidance. • Promote transparency, and build trust with stakeholders. • Actively participate in Agile knowledge-sharing communities. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • 3-5+ years hands-on experience with SAFe agile in software development and supporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro) • Experience with running PI planning events, Inspect and adapt sessions and in producing related agile artifacts (e.g., PI event report, PI metrics) • 2+ years working in an Agility training/coaching role with exposure to large organizational transformations • Experience with supporting and providing oversight of at least 3 teams • Solid oral, written, and presentation skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills • Experience coaching and mentoring software teams on Agile process transitions • Experience in creating and delivering Agile training/workshop • Able to handle conflict resolution well, facilitating discussion and alternatives of different approaches • Experience coordinating cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth ART (Agile Release Train) execution. • Experience escalating and addressing impediments that impact ART objectives. • Foster alignment between business objectives and team delivery. • Act as a servant leader, enabling teams to deliver value efficiently. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: - Project management experience within Agile software development teams and environments - Solid technical software development and delivery background - SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification or Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) Certification - BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Organization Leadership, or a related field CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,700.00 - $137,100.00.
