Agile Delivery Lead III

Ensures teams’ delivery success by leveraging appropriate Agile methodologies to enable predictable, quality delivery. Maintains focus on the teams’ continuous improvement, optimizing team productivity by removing impediments obstructing the pursuit of teams’ goals while preserving flexibility and the ability to rapidly respond to changes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: + Provides team leadership to rapidly deliver high quality software that meets business requirements. + Leads delivery teams through the process of complex product development by leveraging best fit Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or a scaled framework where applicable) and is responsible for leading all Agile ceremonies (e.g., standup, refinement, retrospective, demo, etc.). + Ensures teams maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery by integrating Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products. Leverages innovative facilitation techniques/practices/frameworks to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. + Provides point in time visibility into team status (delivery targets, commitments, progress, blockers, etc.) through the effective use of Agile tools and metrics. + Facilitates effective collaboration and communication across the team and all stakeholders, building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved. + Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, bugs, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with the team to continuously improve. + Clears impediments for the team, proactively identifying impediments and appropriately resolving them and escalates risks and issues in a timely manner. + Drives rapid decision-making capabilities within the team and facilitates the same with adjacent partners. + Drives cross-team coordination for initiatives/projects that overlap. + Coaches teams in order to enhance their understanding of Agile principles and how their work aligns with the business objectives. Serves as an Agile mentor and coach to other Scrum Masters/Agile roles. + Actively seeks and participates in a variety of learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences, classroom training, and independent study to further develop self and community. SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: + Performs additional duties as directed. **Qualifications** EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field (Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Security) + 2 or more years of experience as an agile delivery lead/scrum master or in a similar role + Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) preferred + Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: + Ability to lead Agile/Scrum adoption at the team level and act as a Scrum Master for multiple distributed scrum teams + Ability to hold team members accountable, while keeping team engaged and motivated + Proficiency with Azure Dev Ops or similar Agile management tools + Understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills + Experience with all Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, scrumban, etc.) + Ability to lead and influence large matrixed teams + Self-starter with solid organization skills to include attention to detail and ability to multitask + Experience with DevOps (Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Service Oriented Architecture) + Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
