Job Description:

Drive adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices (Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.) while providing continuous business value to users and customers.Enable adoption of newer technology capabilities and ensure that standard processes are followed during the enablement of each of these capabilities.Understand requirements and design for the build and deployment of enterprise applications.Identify existing issues and provide alternate solutions.Collaborate with support teams such as OpenShift Support, Jenkins Support and Network teams.Determine and provide inputs for effort estimation.Partner with Goldfield and Bronzefield teams to effectively move Single Family Products to Amazon Web Services (AWS).Demonstrate the team’s work to customers.Mentor and bring up-to-speed junior resources and consultants on technologies/products that the team works on.Perform related duties as assigned or requested.Position eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in engineering solutions and four (4) years of experience leading modernized development teams.

Experience must include:

4 years of deep knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.4 years of experience interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT.4 years of experience in Java, Angular, node.js, Python, Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git DBs: DB2, Mongo Cloud: AWS Other: EKS, and Docker.

OR

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in engineering solutions and two (2) years of experience leading modernized development teams.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
