Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
2+ years Project Administration or related business experience Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus Ability to provide a high level of customer service and collaboration with various stakeholders Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards Ability to solve problems and identify solutions Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job Knowledge of software and technical applications and interfaces typically used in Project Management & Process Improvement environment Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio required. POSITION SUMMARY
Within the Program Management Office (PMO), the incumbent will be responsible for managing details associated with successful project delivery including triaging project requests, scheduling, orchestrating project details on behalf of other PMO members, administering project artifacts and tracking tools, and working to assure project compliance to organizational standards.
Core duties:
Assist with the planning and organizing of program work Manage select projects and budgets Support steering committee and governance needs to ensure accurate data is supplied and timely decisions are made Assist with achieving overall organizational and business goals Track actions, issues, risks and capture progress within projects Manage and triage project and program requests Analyze and develop internal controls and processes Prepare, monitor, and maintain program documentation including charters, proposals, and summary reports for project team and leadership review Collect data and compose reports for benchmarking and make recommendations Act as liaison with committees and task groups collaborating with program management and business partners Day-to-day project administration expertise Ability to manage escalations effectively Innate capability to create order out of chaos Proven problem-solving skills Proven ability to communicate effectively and be easy to work with
