Axis Communications in Lund are now looking for an Agile Project Manager. 

Who is your future team?

In the Ecosystem team, our mission is to Enable and support innovation around Axis devices. Our ACAP framework makes it possible to develop and run custom applications on edge in our cameras and other devices. We are the link between functionality available in AXIS OS and developers all over the world who want to innovate based on that functionality – all the way from idea to production.

What you’ll do here as Agile Project Manager?

You will play a key role in shaping and executing our product development roadmap, ensuring that our development teams have a clear and organized backlog to work from.

You will work closely with 2 development teams and you will be responsible for planning and coordination of cross-team activities, follow up progress and resolve dependencies and issues to ensure efficient development.

You will interact with many different stakeholders and other project managers to ensure you have all the information that you and the teams need to make the best decisions.

You will be responsible for ensuring clear and efficient support channels for technical support to developers, both within and outside of Axis.

The responsibilities of the role include:

Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is correctly prioritized and well-organized for efficient execution.Collaborate with other project managers to assure that requirements and dependencies are managed and aligned.Work closely with product manager and engineering manager on priorities to execute on product strategyFacilitate planning sessions.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on backlog status, changes, and overall progress.Foster open communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure a smooth flow of work, timely deliveries, and effective problem-solving.Together with other colleagues drive continuous improvement of our development methodology and way of working.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?

We are looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager with a technical understanding of software development. You have an eye for prioritization and how to create conditions for successful product development.

Work experience as a project manager/backlog owner/product owner or similarStrong understanding of agile methodologies and software development practices A strong technical interest balanced with a business mindsetMaster’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar fieldA genuine interest, talent and experience in leading people and projectsAbility to motivate your teams, creating an open and innovative work environmentAs a person you are humble and empathic in balance with the ability to negotiate and take decisions when neededYou are an open-minded cooperative person, who builds positive relationships and think win-win
