Agile Readiness Manager

We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves and build a better world -- together. At Ford, we’re all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Are you ready to change the way the world moves?

Ford is transforming the transportation industry, delivering higher levels of automation, continuously upgradeable performance, and seamless connected experiences. Software, connectivity, and data are the cornerstones of this evolution, delivering the foundational elements by which Ford will drive this evolution. The Readiness Manager sits within the Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) and is responsible for change management that enables the Connected Vehicle Software (CVS) organization to fully adopt agile and modern ways of working. This role will be central to enabling the engineering organization responsible for all software and electronics in all Ford vehicles as we build truly software defined vehicles.

In this role you will lead the training, enablement, communications, and community management portfolio, which brings our agile framework to life for the engineering organization.

You'll have...

Bachelor’s Degree  5+ years of experience as a readiness manager (ie change manager) or similar roles in complex enterprise environments  Up-to-date change professional certifications (eg CCMP, Prosci, Agile Change Agent, or related)

Even better, you may have...

Experience as an influential change agent (eg chief of staff or strategy leader)  Exceptional communication (oral & written) and collaboration skills in cross-functional, diverse environments  Demonstrated history of leading change and transformation in an industrial or combined hardware and software environment  Deep knowledge in agile ways of working including agile frameworks, roles and responsibilities, org structures and their unique readiness management requirements  Persuasive storytelling abilities enabling you to promote your ideas at the highest levels, gain alignment, generate excitement, and instigate momentum in complex matrixed environments  A hyper collaborative mindset and ability to partner with teams and leaders regardless of level  Tenacity, grit, and a persistent sense of urgency with a bias for action (even in ambiguous and fluid situations)

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
