The Agile Release Manager 2 oversees the release process from planning to software distribution for a small or non-complex product line or work stream. This position works with leaders to plan and refine backlogs, monitor and manage change within the release, and execute release activities. The Agile Release Manager 2 is knowledgeable in Lean-Agile principles.
What you will be doing Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Agile leadership to define and communicate the release plan including scope, scale, capacity and cross team dependenciesCoordinate with leaders and impacted teams to schedule the releases; ensure impact on IT controls are identified, and release exceptions are identified and approved.Facilitate discussion with Product leadership on team's capacity as it aligns to prioritized work, coordinating ongoing cross-team dependent work to help resolve issues and mitigate risks.Coordinate the environmental requirements necessary within Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to maximize automation, security, and quality in the Release Process.Track progress of all teams towards completion of planned release scope, while monitoring, controlling, and tracking changes associated with all activities leading up to the release, escalating potential issues.Verify that work meets all release definitions of done and software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) requirements.Coordinate the execution of release day activities toward successful software distribution and launch day activities, facilitating continuous improvement.What will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience working in a software development companyExperience in a software delivery support roleExperience as a Lean-Agile practitioner Agile certification(s) and/or extensive experience in an Agile delivery environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasDemonstrated proficiency with facilitation and influencing othersGood facilitation and project management skillGood analytical skills to define and refine the release process from planning to software distributionAbility to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation new ideas and design solutionsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversightGood attention to detailExperience with SDLCExperience creating and refining release definition of ready (DoR) and definition of done (DoD)General knowledge of a work tracking tool, such as TFS, Jira or similar work tracking toolsBasic understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelinesUp to 10% travel time required Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
