Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Agilist (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Agilist will foster an environment focused on Agile Ways of Working, values, principles, and tactics both within the team and overall product group. Additional job duties include the following:

coach the team to become a high performing team;be a leader that serves the team and larger organization/product group;help the team maintain agile tools and mediate through conflict resolution;coach the product manager on techniques for effective story writing using the INVEST model and building appropriate acceptance criteria;facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives) with the team;provide timely and periodic feedback to the Scrum team;leverage team level metrics to improve the team/product, delivery, and performance;offer solutions to boost maturity based on performance using a coaching-oriented approach;implement core Scrum values into the team’s everyday activities, including the importance of transparency, inspection, and adaptation; coach team on proper methods in creating product definitions, including the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done;perform work using the following tools/technologies: Jira, Dragonboat, Microsoft Office, Clarity, Mural.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Business Administration. Will accept a 3- or 4-year degree. Must have 3 years (36 months) of experience in a Scrum Master position.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have the following experience: 1) 36 months of experience educating Scrum teams on product backlog estimation and acceptance criteria definition, managing sprint effectiveness and generating actionable insights through data deep dives and metrics tracking; 2) 36 months of experience performing work using the following tools/technologies: Jira, Dragonboat, Microsoft Office, Clarity, Mural; 3) 12 months of experience implementing core Scrum values into the team’s everyday activities, including the importance of transparency, inspection, and adaptation; 4) hands on experience providing timely and periodic feedback to the Scrum team and developing metrics to increase transparency for the Scrum team and stakeholders and offering solutions to boost maturity based on performance using a coaching-oriented approach. Must have an active Certified Scrum Master(CSM, PSM, or equivalent) certification. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $99,507 - $116,905. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
