Job Description:

As a Farm Technician, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm. You will assist with the maintenance of crops, livestock, and farm equipment, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.Monitor and maintain the health of crops and livestock.Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.Conduct soil testing and manage irrigation systems.Apply fertilizers and pesticides following safety and environmental guidelines.Record data related to crop production and livestock management.Support in planning and implementing planting schedules and crop rotations.Adhere to safety protocols and best practices on the farm.Collaborate with the farm management team to improve production efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in agriculture or related field preferred.Experience in farm operations or agricultural technology is an asset.Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required.

Working Conditions:

The position may require working weekends and holidays during peak seasons.The job involves outdoor work in various weather conditions.
